Our volunteer program is a vital part of this commitment, and we conduct yearly assessments of our organizational policies to ensure they align with our values. We also provide educational resources to our staff and the wider community and build strong relationships with VA medical centers and other Veteran organizations.
We Honor Veterans is a program that partners with hospices, veterans facilities, and veterans to provide care and support. It is run by the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO). They have tiered partnership levels from Recruit to Level 5, which can be attained by meeting specific requirements. Our commitment to the We Honor Veterans program ensures that our Veterans receive the specialized care, respect, and dignity they deserve.
